Ordinal numbers
Los números ordinales indican la posición actual o pasada de personas,
animales o cosas respecto a otras homogéneas.
Los números ordinales concuerdan en género y número con los sustantivos
a que se refieren.
En la lengua hablada los números ordinales se utilizan del 1 al 20.
Los números primero y tercero delante de sustantivo masculino
pasan a ser: primer y tercer.
Ejemplo: Luis quedó en tercer lugar en la prueba de salto con pértiga.
1º primero, 1ª primera
2º segundo, 2ª segunda etc.
